I am an Economist with an interest in GLOBAL issues. I obtained my Ph.D. in Applied Economics (partly with Economics) from the University of Minnesota in 2022. My main research fields are International Trade and Development Economics, with a secondary interest in Economic Policy, Public Economics, and Economic History. 

My current research primarily combines empirical methods and quantitative structural models to address questions of trade policy, trade barriers, global production, poverty and inequality reduction, and fiscal policy-related issues.

PS: My Ph.D. was earned out of pain, but regardless, I never gave up. So the Dr. title is an outstanding achievement for me.
